Desiree Juncaj
Owner/Stylist
Desiree has always wanted to own her own salon and continue to do hair while doing so. Her dreams came true 11 years ago when she opened her first location in Oxford. She has moved to her final destination in Oxford where she feels it is the perfect fit. She feels that thru her business she is beyond grateful of the wonderful people it has brought into her life. Most of her clientele has been with her from the beginning and so they are like family to her. She is constantly continuing her education as well as sharing this with her staff. She feels very strongly about keeping her staff up to date with the new trends to be able to offer them to all of you. When she is not at the salon she loves spending time with her husband Rob and her three children Masiela, Mila, and Mari. She is also thankful to all her immediate family that continue to help her on this journey.
Chelsea Gignac
(Stylist/ Make-up artist/curl specialist) Chelsea has been with VDG for 11 years now. She began working along side the owner, Desiree. She attended cosmetology school at David Pressely in Royal Oak where she received her certification in Klix hair extensions. She loves everything about this industry and is always keeping up with new techniques and continuing her education. She has extended her education in working with curly hair as well. Chelsea loves the relationships she has built with her clients and coworkers and is excited to keep building from here. She enjoys spending her free time with her new baby and husband.
Jessica Griffin
(Stylist and Curl expert) Jessica is certified in cutting and curling through Deva Curl and has been a stylist for over 20 years. Jessica enjoys educating clients when they have difficulties working with their curls/texture. Jessica loves when she can help one of her clients see how beautiful they are just by adjusting their color or cut to fit their personalized needs. Jessica is constantly continuing her education to stay up to date with the latest trends. When she is not working she loves spending time with her two boys and husband.
Sydnee English
(Stylist/lash expert)
Sydnee joined the VDG family in August of 2017. She began working alongside the owner, Desiree as her assistant. After all her hard work and dedication she has earned her way to her own station. Sydnee started pursuing her cosmetology career at Grondins in Lapeer her junior year of high school allowing her to graduate with her high school diploma and a cosmetology license. She received her certification in Academy Pro Hair and extensions. She has also continued her education and has become certified in Xtreme eyelash extensions. In her spare time she loves to be outdoors and to play with her wild blue/red heeler puppy, Gus.
Sydney Stone
(Assistant/lash specialist)
Sydney has been assisting and working front desk since 2018. She graduated from Lake Orion High School and OSTC Cosmetology in 2019. After receiving her cosmetology license she will be continuing her education in eyelashes and brow art. Outside of the salon she enjoys shopping and spending time with friends and family on the lake.
Katerina Dimcevski
(Front Desk coordinator)
Katerina has been working as our front desk coordinator for 4 years. She is always prepared to answer any questions anyone may have. She is currently attending college and has her mind set on finishing school with her business degree. She works hard at doing her very best everyday. On her free time Katerina loves to read books and watch movies with her friends and family.
Hannah Kwapis
Hannah has been with us for 2 years now. Hannah loves always learning new things and soaking up all the tricks and tips from her fellow stylists here at VDG. She enjoys doing dimensional color and is a master at blonding. When she isn't working she loves spending time with her family and being out on their boat.
